500 g Ardo Apple slices
10 slices of white bread
500 ml milk
10 eggs
150 g cane sugar
150 g butter
Calvados (if serving as a dessert)


Egg, Gluten, Milk


  1. Brown the apple slices in half the butter, add half the cane sugar and caramelise.
  2. Flambé with the calvados (if serving as a dessert).
  3. Whisk the eggs.
  4. Melt a knob of butter in the pan.
  5. Dip the bread slices into the milk and then into the whisked eggs. Fry on a high heat, dusting them with a little cane sugar to caramelise.
  6. Serve with the browned apple slices.
  7. Delicious with whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
